Jerome Gomez – Consultant
Jerome joined the Curaçao Athletic Scholarship Foundation since inception and is the technical and social media consultant. Besides working on all the technical duties he also advises on the strategic aspect of the organization. He graduated from the Point Park University in 1996 with a master degree in business administration. While a student at the University, he was a member of the football (not American football) team for two years.
In his younger year he was (and still is) a huge fan of football and baseball. He played many baseball international tournaments during his little and senior league years for Curaçao, and was also a member of the 1983 Senior league team who became first runner up in Gary Indiana. In those days the opportunity to reach your athletics dreams were scare for a kid located in Curaçao, but nowadays the opportunities are amble. If you have the talent and the hunger to reach far you can reach far. This is actually the main reason why Jerome joined this foundation; to seek for talents and create the opportunity for these kids, that have the hunger to reach their athletic dreams of becoming a future champion.
