Lucas Beaujon – Board President
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute obtained in 1989 and Master degree in Business Administration at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill – Kenan-Flagler Business School obtained in 1993. Mr. Beaujon at his return to Curaçao has been employed at Refineria Isla Curaçao B.V. for 26 years and currently holds the position of Human Resources Manager at Refineria Isla Curaçao B.V, since January 2014.
In 2015, Mr. Beaujon performed as Marketing representative in the organizing committee of the Little League Caribbean Region Tournament and in 2016 as the President of the organizing committee of the Intermediate Caribbean and Central American region of Little League Baseball. This year again in 2017 he is the president of the organizing committee for the “1st Classico Internacional de Beisbol Juvenil “ to be held between July 21st and July 29th 2017 here in Curaçao.
It is that passion for sports together with high academic standards he sets for his children has motivated Mr Beaujon to join with Mr Luis Santine and Miss Danique Zimmerman to establish the Curaçao Athletic Scholarship Foundation to assist talented athletes with high academic performance to reach their goals as student athlete in high schools and/or academies. This to help them obtain a college career and/or professional career in the sport they practice without or very low study debt, while at the same time continue promoting Curaçao in the athletic and academic fields abroad.
